The Strut STR-DR60D Field Case is custom designed to house the Tascam DR-60D and DR-60D MKII portable recorders. The case provides full access to all controls and connections, as well as protection from weather and dust. It also comes with a lightweight, adjustable chest harness (HAR-2) for added convenience and comfort, allowing hands-free operation without adding weight and bulk to the camera or rig.

The Strut STR-DR60D has a clear vinyl cover, for dust or rain protection, which rolls out of the way when not needed. There is a "cable caddy" for easily securing a short coil of cable, and additional attachment points for securing headphones and other accessories. A Key Feature is the bottom battery door which gives option of adding additional power with the BP6AA battery pack to the bottom of the device while maintaining easy battery changes. The case includes a pocket to secure wireless receivers and a cabling port. The pocket is also suitable for other accessories. The case offers "connection protection" on the left and right sides to seal out dust and moisture, and help secure and control XLR cables. The belt tunnel is on the rear of the case under the velcro closure. The STR-DR60D is made of 1000D coated Cordura and only weighs only 3.5 ounces. Made in USA.
